For weeks mummy and I have been going to obedience classes and gradually watching all my friends move into the next class. And each time they would say 'All basics over here' mummy would whispher in my ear, 'it's ok. you're not basic', but none the less it was starting to get to me.
But finally, this week, the man with the BIG DOG said 'Show me sit and drop' and then he told mummy off for saying 'Liffey drop' and Liffey sit' rather than just sit and drop and I thought for sure it would be another week in basics for us. BUT NO he said 'go to intermediates next week'!! Yeah! I am so excited about next week- I get to practice dropping for longer and mummy has to put the lead down- cool hey!!
Well gotta go practice- don't want to look like a dufus at my first intermediate class.

congratulations, strange man, hows you to know your to drop if you donts have your name said. you know how we dogs are goods at visulising, well visulaise, dogs, more then one, my mums says drop, and we just sit ans looks and send her, who me!! looks. anyways good on yer, you'll soon be "Superdog"
ReplyDeleteOK, that is setting a really bad example for momma now. She says that even though I am improving at my agilities that my obedience skills are "lacking."
ReplyDeleteGranted we both hate the 40 minute drive to obedience class, but she says that a new obedience school is opening just 10 minutes away in the fall and then we are going to "up the pace." Oh man.
Hey, but good job for you. I know how hard it is for us active doggies to stay still for all those stay exercises.

Congrats, Liffey, on the big move up. Mom had the same problem with using the name, seems to make sense to us to use the name. Hope you have a lot of fun in your next class.
